The Pelican Lake Property Owners' Association, Inc. (PLPOA) was incorporated in 2003 and renamed in 2020, to Pelican Lake Association, Inc. (PLAW). The Pelican Lake Association is an educational and charitable tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Tax Code. As such, all donations are tax-exempt to the extent allowed by law.
Our Mission Statement
The purpose of the PLAW is to preserve, protect, and enhance the waters of Pelican Lake, Wisconsin, through the undertaking of various activities, including advocating and facilitating communications by sharing of information between individuals, environmental organizations, and state and local governmental bodies and involvement in various educational and special projects aimed at good stewardship and wise use of our waters and their natural wildlife habitats and fisheries both for us and for future generations.
Maintaining a balanced lake ecosystem, promoting good stewardship, educating all lake patrons regarding best practices, as well as maintaining and preventing Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) , help us reach our primary objectives of preserving, protecting, and enhancing Pelican Lake.
